Backgrounds

Hello and welcome to my first attempt at making bordered backgrounds.

First off let me introduce myself. I am Rosemary, or better known as RM to my friends on the Internet. I am an avid fan of the classic, gothic, some even say cult, TV show from the late 60s early 70s, Dark Shadows. I run a couple of Webrings devoted to Dark Shadows, and also I enjoy Awarding great Dark Shadows sites.

When I began getting more involved with the Internet, I came to find there were just a few Dark Shadows websites around. Now they seem to be sprouting up everywhere. I attribute this to a renewed interest in the show since it began re-airing on Sci-Fi Channel. Nevertheless, some of these sites I have noticed, didn't have true Dark Shadows graphics. Now 4 years down the line on the Internet, I decided, 'heck, why don't I make some?'

So, grabbing my trusty Paint Shop Pro 5 program, I have set about to right this wrong. Well, at least offer some to those people who would like to use them. I am no great artist or anything, so what you will find here, are basic and simple backgrounds FREE to use.

I hope this will not turn into another obsession of mine. I seem to get on a roll, and can't get off. Anyway, here is my humble beginnings. I do hope I do justice to them. :)
